In the short time since becoming a member of Starve Ups, we have received invaluable insights, guidance, recommendations and more both from our peer group as well as mentors and partners. Being a founders only organization provides a unique environment for founders to express the ups and downs, successes and challenges of our respective businesses, without the feeling of being judged or facing repercussions for stating what we all really want to say all in a value added, reciprocated way. The community and lasting relationships created by this structure are for sure unique to Starve Ups.

In our case specifically, we have already received guidance and referrals/introductions for an open capital raise as well as direction for a potential acquisition we are exploring. On the flip side, having the ability to give/receive direct feedback from peers provides additional viewpoints into our business from perspectives we likely wouldn’t have otherwise had or at least without paying for it.

During our regular peer group meetings, conversations are had across multiple industries ranging from tech, to clothing, to food, and more with each bringing unique challenges to the table that we all collectively help troubleshoot.
